Zephyr Project Hands-on Meetup Day 2

Discover the Fascinating World of Zephyr in Our Interactive Workshop!

Dive into the exciting world of the Zephyr project! Our hands-on workshop offers numerous practical examples to help you get started with this innovative open-source real-time operating system. Zephyr is not only widely discussed but will also form the foundation for the future Arduino project. Additionally, it finds applications in a variety of devices, including keyboards, smartwatches, and digital soldering irons. And the best part: it runs on over 750 different evaluation boards and development kits!

We are excited to welcome Stephan and Tobias, the dedicated maintainers of the Bridle project, as our guests. Their goal is to make your entry into the Zephyr world as simple and accessible as possible. After an engaging introduction to the background of Zephyr and Bridle, you will be guided through a series of tutorials where you can get hands-on experience.

You will have the opportunity to program a small microcontroller board and discover the many useful features of Zephyr for embedded development. After getting the obligatory LED to blink, exciting challenges await you: a shell, motor control, and programming sound effects!

Target Audience:

  • Newcomers to the world of embedded software
  • Anyone curious about exciting software technologies

What You Should Bring:

  • Your own laptop
  • (Optional) Your own microcontroller board, if you like

Please note that the number of participants is limited. Therefore, the event will take place on two separate evenings: February 26 and 27.
